I couldn't have a red look without something a little more luxe! For me, a deeper and darker red lends itself perfectly to a Winter evening look. This red velvet top, with chiffon trim is perfect if you like to look slightly more casual whilst going out, and can be paired with jeans for a more laid back feel, or paired with a leather look or lace skirt to add a little more glamour and texture. The loose fit is again perfect for hiding that extra Christmas snacking, which is always useful this time of year if you're anything like me! The simplicity of the top allows you to play with the jewellery, be it a bold statement necklace, or more simple silver pieces, like I have above.

Being comfortable in an outfit is so important to me when I'm on a night out. I struggle with crowds, and the usual revels that go with parties and festive shenanigans, and continually tugging down at my skirt, or worrying that my little belly is showing only makes things worse. Being comfortable in my outfit, whilst still feeling appropriately dressed helps me feel comfortable in my own skin. I want to look special, feel beautiful, and confident enough to mingle with other guests, and let my bestie spirit and unique interests shine out, and for me, this outfit allows me to do that.

I would love to know if any of you have been loving wearing red this Winter, and in particular how you've been styling it for an evening out?
