When I embarked on my "London's Calling" series, I had visions of numerous photoshoots taken in front of various red items all across London, and the ultimate vision was that of a red telephone box. Turns out that finding a secluded line of red telephone boxes is a lot harder than I first thought, and it wasn't until my last full day in London that I came across these little beauties in Convent Garden.

I wanted to mix up the red theme a bit with this outfit, and go with something red but patterned, rather than the usual block colour that I'd been featuring up till now. So I picked up this tartan dress from Next. Again, tartan is great for wearing when it comes to the festive season, and I'll definitely be donning this dress when up on the West Coast of Scotland this December  (with an added three layers on top of course, man its gonna be cold...). Carrying on with the slight festive theme, I wore my large white fluffy hat, which I always get so much wear out of this time of year, as it keeps my head both warm, and dry when (or more likely if) it starts snowing. Knee-high boots and a red satchel finish of the look, meaning I'm all ready for another day of London adventure.

I honestly can't decide whether I love London or not. I love all it has to offer, but as someone who is anxious on public transport, I do struggle to get around. It also baffles me that in the same time it takes me to get a 176 from Dulwich to Lancaster Place, I could've driven from my home in Northumberland to Scotland! I met up with one of my old friends today whilst in London, a girl I've known for seventeen out of my almost twenty years of life, and one who recently started university at UCL. She seems to be thriving here, and when I hear about all the things she's done, and all the opportunities she gets, I do get a little envious, and think it would be great to live here. But then I think of that long 176 bus journey again, and the stuffy tube, hot tube journeys, and I'm put right back off again!

Let me know what you think of London in the comments below, and if you have any theatre of London attraction recommendations then let me know, as I'm sure I'll be visiting the boyfriend in the near future, and we're running out of ideas!
