London at Christmas is something you have to see at least once in your life time. The streets adorned with various themed decorations, the many shop windows decorated beautifully, and the buzz of people shopping. I know that this part of Christmas is completely commercialised, but for me, that is part of Christmas. Grabbing a hot chocolate, looking through various shop windows and buying gifts for your loved one, that's part of the Christmas fun. London is great for this kind of Christmas spirit, and whilst spending last week in London I made sure to trawl round Convent Garden, Carnaby Street, Liberty's and all the other festively adorned streets. I even went ice skating at Somerset House, and only fell over once, five minutes before the end, which was more than mildly irritating to say the least!
Is the commercial side of Christmas important to you too? Or do hate the way shops dress their windows and the busy shopping crowds? Let me know in the comments below!
