White Walls

Finishing exams means that I finally get to appreciate York, and all it has to offer. Being a dilligent history student I have already been to the majority of York's museums and had a history tour, but I've never really taken the time to walk along the walls myself. As term is nearing an end I thought now was the perfect opportunity to do so. The medieval walls that encase the city were partially re-built by the Victorians, and you can enter via gates (which are called "bars" in York) dotted along the wall and take a look out across York and the surrounding area. I highly recommend that if you ever visit York you take a wander along the walls, maybe bring a sandwhich, and take a break in order to soak up the York atmosphere.

Now onto the outfit. I recently picked up these jeans in the Boohoo sale after debating whether I should get a pair of Mom Jeans for months. I wasn't sure due to having a small frame whether they would look flattering on me, but to be honest, they are so comfy I don't even really care how they look. I love the super distressed design paired with these slightly more feminine boots, with the laser floral cut-outs giving a more girly feel to the outfit. Paired with my trusty white cropped jumper (for even though it is officially June its still chilly up North!) and my "Mary Poppins Bag" (which seriously is like a tardis and fits my sketchbook, notebook, pencils and various other bobbins in with ease) and I was all set for the day looking both comfy and put together if I do say so myself!
