What I am Litening to this Week #24

So as of the 1st August a lot of my friends will be heading to Kendall Calling a music festival in the Lake District, and what can I say, I am pretty jealous. So in tribute to Kendall Calling and the amazing time that all my friends are going to have, I thought I would create this weeks plylist using some of my favourtie songs from the 2014 line up.

1. Newton Faulkner- Write It On Your Skin The man with the amazing hair, Newton Faulkner's signiture style of 'percussive guitar playing' makes him a dream to listen to.
2. De La Soul- Ring Ring Ring (Ha Ha Hey) This band is perhaps the definition of 90s hip-hop, however you may best know them from their collaboration with Gorillaz in Feel Good Inc.
3. Lewis Watson- Sink or Swim Another guy with a love of a guitar, Lewis Watson has a beautiful, somewhat vulnerable voice that makes each one of his songs honest and raw.
4. Catfish and the Bottlemen- Kathleen A bit more upbeat and with a lot more accompliment than that of Lewis Watson, Cathfish and the Bottlemen (which is such a cool name for a band) these guys have a rocky vibe that make them the perfect band to add into the mix
5. Gypsies of Bohemia- Toxic (Britney Spears) Kendall always has a great varietyof music and Gypsies of Bohemia are one of those unusual bands, covering songs by Prodigy, to Elbow, to Britney spears using just two guitars and a double bass, these guys are definitely different!!
