Post-Exam Musings

It's official, I have finished my A Level Exams. And finished high school for that matter. After an evening of singing 'I'm free, to do what I want to do' and a night filled with coughing and spluttering (trust me to get sick the day after I finish school), I find myself at a loss for things to do. I have a lot of time, around 3 months to be precise, and there are a lot of things I want to do in that times. My Mum keeps saying I need to make the best use I can with this time, broaden my knowledge, learn a new skill. But don't I also deserve a bit of relaxation, a bit of fun? So I made a list, of things I want to do, to achieve, and I thought I would lay out just a few here.

1. Learn HTML- Although I have done a bit of redesigning on the blog, I am no where near happy with the over all look, and currently I can't afford a snazzy new blog design, no matter how much I want it. The next best thing? To teach myself a bit of HTML. My boyfriend even caught me looking at Blog Design for Dummies this morning, but even though I may be a dummy, hopefully by the end of the summer I will be a dummy with a penchant for HTML
2. Series- I have written a list of a bunch of series that I have put off watching whilst I have had my exams, and I am pretty far behind. I am talking Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones and Orange is the New Black (yeh I am THAT far behind).
3. Gaming- Soo I like to play a bit of XBOX now and then, and games I got for Christmas have been untouched for a while now. Gaming marathon anyone?
4. Work Out- It's no secret that I hate exercise, but with summer fast approaching, and bikini sales on the rise I just know that a little work out is gonna be needed. But it is not just the desire to look good that has got me wanting to don my running shoes again, but also the desire to actually be healthy. I would hate to look at my insides, but with yo-yo eating habits, a lot of junk food and the stamina of a sloth (oh how I love sloths...) I feel that some healthy working out is needed. Oh, and if there is ever a Zombie Apocolypse I might actually stand a chance of running away.
5. Finally I want to improve my photgraphy skills, not only for blogging purposes, but also to document my summer antics. I have had a empty scrapbook in my wardrobe for 2 years now, and with a long summer stretching ahead of me, what better way to occupy my time than taking photos of all the exciting things I will hopefully be getting up to.

  1. Stunning art. ;-)
