What I am listening to this Week #20

1. Django Django- Default For Christmas my friend made me a Mix-CD (ok it was 7 Mix-CDs) and this song Default was on it, it's a band I would probably never have stumbled across alone. That's what I love about music, when you can share new bands you have just discovered with your friends and vice versa, providing you with the ability to broaden your musical horizons.
2. Andy Jordan- Whole Lotta Water Part of me is slightly concerned that I am getting my new music discoveries from reality TV shows, but I actually really like Andy's voice. I love music that has a folky stlye to it and Andy's voice and his guitar are just perfect (I am not a 'Made in Chelsea' groupy....I promise....)
3. Agnes Obel- The Curse I used to play the cello so any artist who features a cello in her songs has my vote straight off. The gorgeous Miss Obel's hauntingly beautiful voice makes her one of my all time favuorite new artist, and if all Danes are this good at making music, I may have to go on a little road trip...
4. Alabama Shakes- Boys and Girls Alabama Shakes is just such a cool band, and as a confessed lover of blues I can not get enough of this women's husky, blues perfect voice. Oh and her hair, she has amazing hair...
5. Royal Blood- Hole If you are a lover of rock then I highly recommend Royal Blood. A firm favourite of Fearne Cotton and recent support act to the Artic Monkeys, this band is one to watch.
