When living in England you need to have a good summer coat. British weather is unpredictable and notoriously rainy and cold, especially in the North East! So I bring you the perfect summer coat, this little beaut of a Parka from the Zara Kids (boys) section. When you stand at 5 ft 1 like me shopping in the kids section is often a neccessity, cause adult clothes are always too long for me, especially when it comes to parkas, and after seeing Jen from Clothesencounters wearing this coat I just knew it was the one for me. With a detachable gilet on the inside this coat will last me right through to Autumn where I will be layering up to keep warm.
A perfect summer staple has to be a smock dress, and this one from Asos is just so cute that I am finding myself endlessly curtsying and twirling around. Origionally I set out on the hunt for a gingham dress to wear as part of a fancy dress for my last day of high school (Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz anyone?) but once I saw this dress I knew I would get a lot of wear out of it once I had left Toto at home. Paired with my battered white converse (yep that is a hole you can see in the toe) and some three penny pieces that my Mum turned into earrings and I'm good to go come rain or shine.
Dress- Asos
Coat- Zara
Shoes- Converse
Bracelet and Earrings- Home made
Such a pretty dress. *__*
